This grass fire was started after a B-1 Bomber, based out of Dyess AFB, experienced an engine fire. A total of 6 area departments, including Dyess, helped to extinguish this particular fire. In all, 5 seperate grass fires were ignited. Plane and crew made a safe landing back on Dyess.
